We source our raw materials from the same suppliers behind the world’s most coveted fragrances and because of who we are and how we buy, we secure them on better terms, then pass those savings straight to you, our adoring fragrance consumer. It means a House of Twist scent isn’t an imitation of a smell; it mirrors the actual composition – the same notes, drawn from the same sources.
We also formulate in-house, then test on skin, never just on paper. A fragrance behaves differently on the body than on a blotter: it’s how you read a true dry-down, how each note unfolds over hours, how long a scent genuinely lasts. We rework each formula until it’s right, then put it through stability testing across temperature and humidity, so it will smell as intended months down the line.
We own every step. Formulation, testing, and manufacturing all happen under one roof, here in the U.S. No third parties. No outsourcing. Just full control over what goes into every bottle.

The Story
The art of perfumery is one of the most closely held crafts on earth, a world of trade secrets, years-long apprenticeships, and access reserved for a select few. To put it in context, there are more astronauts than trained perfumers in the world.
House of Twist was founded by someone who came up inside that world. After years spent within one of the industry’s major fragrance houses – learning how the great scents are built, evaluated, and sourced – our founder left with a single conviction: that the artistry of fine fragrance should not sit behind a luxury price tag.
That conviction became House of Twist.
The same notes. The same raw materials. The same techniques. The same suppliers the designer houses rely on. Simply without the markup.
