House of Twist Labor Day Pay Day — Official Rules

1. Giveaway Period
The House of Twist Labor Day Pay Day (the "Giveaway") begins on August 25 at 12:01 AM ET and ends on September 14 at 11:59 PM PT (the "Giveaway Period"). Entries received before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater, at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, contractors, and immediate family members of House of Twist and its affiliated companies, agencies, and promotional partners are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. How to Enter
During the Giveaway Period, visit the designated House of Twist Giveaway entry page and submit the requested information, including your email address, mobile telephone number, and any other required information identified on the entry form. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Giveaway Period unless otherwise expressly stated by House of Twist. No purchase is required to enter or win. Incomplete, inaccurate, automated, fraudulent, duplicate, or otherwise non-compliant entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of House of Twist.
4. Email and SMS Consent
By providing your email address, you agree to receive promotional emails from House of Twist. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in the email. By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in to SMS marketing, you agree to receive recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages from House of Twist at the telephone number provided. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or entry. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages and HELP for assistance. Participation in the Giveaway is subject to House of Twist's applicable Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
5. Prize
One (1) eligible entrant will receive a prize with an approximate retail value of $1,000, paid as $1,000 cash via PayPal. The prize is non-transferable except at the Sponsor's discretion. No substitution or transfer of the prize is permitted except that House of Twist reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
6. Winner Selection
One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will occur on or by September 16. The potential winner will be contacted using the email address and/or mobile telephone number submitted with the winning entry.
7. Winner Notification
The potential winner must respond to the winner notification within five (5) days of the first attempted notification unless another time period is stated in the notification. House of Twist may require the potential winner to provide proof of identity, age, and eligibility, and to execute an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability release, publicity release, and/or other documentation reasonably required to verify eligibility. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, is determined to be ineligible, fails to comply with these Official Rules, or declines the prize, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
8. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
9. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, local, or other taxes, fees, or expenses associated with accepting or using the prize. The winner may be required to provide information reasonably necessary for applicable tax reporting.
10. Related Promotional Offer
Separately from the Giveaway, House of Twist is offering 40% off purchases of two (2) or more items from August 25 through September 8 (the "Promotional Offer"). The Promotional Offer is not required to enter or win the Giveaway, does not increase an entrant's chances of winning, and is subject to standard site discount terms, which may include exclusions and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for House of Twist to use the winner's first name, last initial, city, and state for purposes of announcing the winner and promoting the Giveaway without additional compensation. Any broader use of the winner's name, photograph, likeness, voice, testimonial, or other personal information will be subject to applicable law and any additional consent required.
12. General Conditions
House of Twist reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules, attempts to submit fraudulent or automated entries, tampers with the entry process, attempts to obtain more entries than permitted, provides false or misleading information, or engages in conduct that House of Twist determines compromises the integrity or fairness of the Giveaway. House of Twist reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other circumstance beyond its reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Giveaway. If the Giveaway is terminated early, House of Twist may select the winner from among eligible entries received before the termination.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless House of Twist and its respective affiliates, employees, officers, directors, representatives, advertising agencies, and promotional partners from claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize. Nothing in these Official Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
14. Technical Issues
House of Twist is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or not received due to technical problems, network failures, internet outages, mobile carrier issues, equipment malfunctions, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of House of Twist. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.
15. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be handled in accordance with House of Twist's Privacy Policy and these Official Rules. Entrants should review the House of Twist Privacy Policy before submitting an entry.
16. Social Media Disclaimer
If the Giveaway is promoted through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, or another social media platform, the Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms unless expressly stated otherwise. By participating, entrants release the applicable social media platforms from liability associated with the Giveaway to the extent permitted by law.
17. Disputes and Governing Law
Except where prohibited by applicable law, all issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Giveaway will be resolved individually and not through any form of class action, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
